Scotland - Part 1

Rest and Be Thankful Viewpoint, Scotland
Scotland is not always the first place people think of to visit, but really it hides a multitude of stunning views and breathtaking scenery.
Curious about our trip up north to the west coast? (we started from Suffolk as opposed to London)

Here is a picture of Will, checking out the views.
It was quite cold up here, but the view was so beautiful, and really, do just take a break, rest and be thankful.

We did stop by Creggans Inn for lunch and it really is nice there.

There is a lovely view from the garden but we opted to sit in as it was slightly chilly.
The food was lovely, I had a sea bass meal and Will had salmon linguine, which was delicious.

Then we had tea at Home on the Loch
I had a raspberry and coconut loaf and Will had a lemon drizzle. The view was pretty and this time, we braved the cold and sat outside to enjoy the view. There was also free wifi, which quickly brought about funny hashtags on instagram such as #freewifi which has a few funny pictures!

There is a lot of driving involved and it is pretty amazing that the view is just lovely all the way.

And we actually had a lot of sunshine, especially considering that this is Scotland!

Lastly, this is the view from the hotel, which is something I think I will write a separate post on as it really deserves it.

Stay tune for a review of our experience staying at Hunters Quay Hotel, Dunoon.
